Mine Rescue Consulting

It is an important part of our company philosophy to consult with our clients on their training and emergency management requirements, rather than simply instruct. Our approach is currently unique within the emergency response industry. Importantly, this approach allows for auditing of the preparation and preparedness of personnel, equipment, site procedures and resources, as part of courses conducted. Post-course reports are provided to clients, which summarize the training and include observations and recommendations about risk management, for the benefit of the client’s emergency department. In addition to training, AMRC is directly involved with developing new safe work and rescue procedures and techniques on mine sites.

“Consultative, client-based approach.”

To assist AMRC in providing unbiased consultative services, an ethical decision not to sell equipment has been adopted. This allows all equipment and techniques being used in industry to be assessed and recommended on their merits, without the risk that potential sales could influence our approach to training or recommendations.

Risk analysis audits and planning provided by AMRC will ensure you meet or exceed industry standards while ensuring the appropriate equipment and resources are available to combat the risk in the unlikely event they occur. These risk analyses range from airstrips incidents at fly-in, fly-out mines through to process plants, administration facilities and residential.

Why AMRC?

On-site Consultancies & Audits

Too often, emergency response training is conducted in the absence of wider audits of equipment and team procedures, so potential safety issues are not identified. AMRC provides best-practice emergency management, through a multi-tiered program that includes not only training of on-ground rescue teams, but also risk-management and planning consultancies offered at management level.

This multi-tiered program has both immediate and long-term benefits: immediate skill development for current teams, and sustained policy benefits for the future. Through our consultancies, AMRC is directly involved with developing new safe work practices, emergency management planning, mutual aid agreements and rescue procedures on mine sites.
